More than 94% of people are susceptible to food addiction! When we eat sugar our brain releases endorphins, the “Feel Good” hormone”. This is the same thing our bodies do when we use alcohol and/or any other drug. Our bodies respond to various foods the same as drugs.

In a lab test, mice were given heroin, morphine and sugar and they all chose sugar. Then the scientists sent electro shocks to the mice that chose to eat the sugar and the mice still chose the sugar. This is evidence of the addictive qualities of sugar.

Sugar and flour are found in most modern foods, even cigarettes? What makes it so much worse is the use of sucrose, a disacharide (2 or more monosacarides) made of glucose and fructose. There are 3 types of disaccharides; sucrose, lactose and maltose. Your liver has to convert fructose into glucose before your body can use it for energy.

Sugar and flour are in almost every food in extreme excess and we are addicted. The typical American citizen eats 7 times per day! The reason you’re so hungry is the foods you’re eating is not actually feeding your body any nutrients.
